The final installments of ANXO's Cider Club residency at Colony Club will take place January 29 and February 12. For the first hour, ANXO will be transforming the second floor of the cafe into an authentic San Sebastian Pintxos Bar for a Pintxos Happy Hour. For $20, the first 20 guests will enjoy unlimited self-serve pintxos and Basque cider pours during the first hour of the event. 

On Colony Club's main floor from 5:30 p.m. to midnight, ANXO will be offering an entirely new cider list featuring 25+ all new ciders and perries from varying regions. Both traditional and hot pintxos will be offered at this time, and Chef Alex Vallcorba will be working alongside Executive Chef Brad Walker as ANXO becomes his primary focus. "

Prices for all other ciders and pintxos vary. The Pintxos Happy Hour is first come, first served for the first 20 guests. This event is 21+.

Colony & ANXO Monthly Cider Club 2

The Second installment of ANXO's Cider Club residency at Colony Club is November 13. From 5:30 p.m. to midnight, ANXO will be offering their most ambitious cider list yet with more than 30 ciders and perries available by the glass. Collaboration #1 will be available as will a new array of hot and cold a la carte pintxos (Basque-inspired small bites) from Executive Chef Brad Walker and Chef Alex Vallcorba. 

Each Cider Club features an educational component, and this time Beverage Director Tim Prendergast will host a tasting of local heirloom apple varietals provided by Glaize Apples from Winchester, VA. Head to Colony Club’s second floor at 5:45 p.m. to learn why some apples are great for making cider and others are best eaten fresh. This seminar is free but space is limited, so arriving early is encouraged. 

The Millstone + ANXO Collaboration #1 will be priced at $7 per glass with limited availability. Prices for all other ciders vary. This event is 21+.

ANXO presents diners with a taste of what's to come at ANXO Sighting No. 2, a four-course dinner event at Boundary Road on Monday, August 17th, 2015. This follows July's first ANXO Sighting event at the Dolcezza Gelato Factory, which sold out in less than two days.

The night will begin with a pintxos hour with assorted fare such as Gilda (olive, guindilla pepper and anchovy) and Peperonata, all offered with a welcome cocktail and unlimited Basque and Austurian cider pours.

The four-course family-style menu features items such as Mixed Lamb Barbecue with Sausages and Charred Greens, and Olive Oil Poached Lobster Mushroom with Great Northern Beans. Each course is paired with a different cider. As ANXO works with local farmers, fishermen, ranchers and of course mother nature, all ingredients are subject to availability and reality.

Tickets are $85 per person, all-inclusive of all food, beverage, tax and tip.
