WE ARE SO EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THE RELEASE OF OUR FIRST CIDER CREATED BY CIDER MAKER GREGORY JOHNSON AT ANXO’S KENNEDY STREET LOCATION, DUBBED ‘CIDRE BLANC.’
Made from 100% DC-foraged Goldrush apples, this tasty cider offers bright acidity with notes of juicy peach, apricot and lemon, balanced by subtle tannins. We’ve really put our heart into this and we can’t wait to share it with you! Joining Cidre Blanc are five additional special blends, made from foraged apples pressed by ANXO staff in 2016.
Celebrations continue on Sunday at our Florida Avenue location. All day, we'll be pouring Cidre Blanc and offering bottles of our delicious ANXO/Snowdrift Transcontinental Collaboration to take home for the first time. From 11am-4pm on the patio during our weekly Sunday Paella Party, Chef Alex Vallcorba will be cooking up his native Catalan tradition of seafood paella. We’ll be shooting ANXO Sidra straight from the barrel to recreate the Basque tradition of Txotx every hour for free. At least one of the new special blends will be included in bottomless brunch, as well as an escanciar flight poured in traditional Asturian Sidrería fashion by your bartender.
